This is an entry for the Trollan Sing-Along Contest for

Whew, I've always had a thing for "Bad Ass" Orko. I love pictures of him looking tough and intimidating. I've also had this desire to draw him topless.

I'm overall pleased with this. The first time I tried to paint this, it was a disaster, so I took a new approach, and now I just can't get enough of it LOL

I chose the song "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins for a few reasons. The main one is cuz it fit the image, as I had planned the image first, and chose a song afterwards that just seemed to fit.

Orko is pretty much the comic relief, but I always wondered if, underneath the bungling, there really was something to fear. But, then again, we never get to see him angry because that is not expected of him. He always has to maintain a certain persona.

Still, there's always that slight chance that one day, he'd just unleash a big can of whoop ass.

The location of this painting is unclear. I never really picked a place. It could be Snake Mountain, where Orko has been tortured by Skeletor for the last time. It could be Castle Greyskull. Or, it could be just some random mountain or cave on Eternia, Etheria, or Trolla

Originally, I was going to batter Orko with wounds on his hands and back...then it just went to his hands...but then it didn't look right, so I just decided to forget the wounds and just stick with the rage.
